Spiritual Rider
by J'Wellsfaithforgivenessself worthrebuilding
I'm a spiritual rider, gospel advisor.
These days considered an outsider.
What fellowship has light with darkness?
Wear my feelings on my sleeve 'cause I don't want to be heartless.
I was a callous individual, stuck in my ignorant role.
Mastering stupid, 'cause anything goes.
There are no rules in the streets.
Pity the fool putting his trust in me.
I was aimless; pretending to be famous.
In anguish, couldn't even speak my own language.
Reached for heights knowing that it was dangerous.
Loved playing with fire until I got burned, But I was burned before.
Playing with desires closed behind a door.
We all got secrets hiding in the closet, The many mistakes we often deposit.
Some get away and escape detection.
Others are exposed for their fraudulent projections.
At the intersection of fallen and weak,
At the end of our rope when our limits are reached.
Consequences should be considered before, not after an action is taken.
What will this cost me? You should be asking Satan.
Tempted with lust that is fabricated.
Sin crouches at the door desiring to have us.
Like a hungry lion waiting to grab us.
We'll be devoured in seconds while it's wreaking havoc.
Lessons of the foolish our ending is tragic.
Shining for a moment but it's not everlasting.
Costly investments time will tarnish and trash it.
Caught in this madness everyone out for themselves.
Stepping on each other is the meaning of hell.
Just to get ahead, we'll do whatever to prevail.
Our hearts have been hardened, we need to crack its shell.
Awaken our hearts to love and compassion.
Only Torah studies can restore this fashion.
Keep seeking, never cease from asking,
Pleading with our Father through prayer and fasting.
