Expecting Life to Be a Party

by J'Wellsgriefdark nightfaithrebuilding
Pretense, I got it together, It's summer in all this bad weather. Icy conditions, no place to call home. Journeyed wherever passion burned. Expecting life to be one big party. Responsibility had no part of me. No wonder why I was forsaken. Condemnation, authenticates those who pretend, Lonely like severed limbs, broken relationships, only He can mend. I want out of the kitchen, I endured the heat. Speak to reassure the weak, Obviously, we're blind to what God can see; Trust in Him whole-heartedly. He'll straighten our crooked paths, and rebuild houses made of glass.
