Scarred Heart

by J'Wellsangergriefdark night
A scarred heart in my youth, created poison in my roots. Desensitized by fear, I was afraid of being scared. I hated my emotions, too broke to be repaired. Confused by my illusions, abused by my confusion, I lost contact with my family, the only road to sanity. Left broken and pitiful, cold-hearted and miserable. I kept searching for answers, while holding my feelings ransom. Pride has brought destruction. My heart thrived on corruption. Soul possessed with anger, placing my life in danger.
