Conscious Reflection — Part II
by J'Wellsforgivenessfaithgrief
I've been destroyed by others — a victim to prisoners of selfishness.
It's a contagious disease, infecting all in contact.
Fortunately, I regained consciousness, placed back on track by divine intervention.
I still revisit the days of my innocence.
With child-like understanding without knowledge.
Loving unconditionally even when completely destroyed.
Not knowing how to hate — my heart was still pure.
Loving those who destroyed me.
Until fleshly instincts arose hate — creating friction.
For forgiving instead of retaliating.
Finally I was consumed.
I fought as long as I could.
Vengeance would no longer be silenced.
It became stronger than me.
A blazing inferno, wanting to do what was done to it — collecting a long-lost debt of humiliation.
Wreak havoc — it's destructive by nature.
Especially to those who were affected by my vengeance.
It became the fuel that consumed all morals.
Forcing the mind into an unrealistic state.
Its fate becomes unknown.
Everyone takes advantage of this unknowing condition.
And strengthen its resistance against self.
Yes, death would be easier than living with my memories, but still I live!
