Bred With Tragedy

by J'Wellsangergriefdark nightself worth
If you could see my life as it existed as it unfolded. If you could witness the twisted facts that it unloaded. Then you would understand if I exploded. Molded as a product of my environment severely scolded. Humiliated like America's Most Hated. So angry my eyes dilated. Like I was under the influence of narcotics. With a fire burning in my chest blemished and spotted. There was a time I considered it a curse to be me. The youngest of my momma's boys, the last to be free. Everybody's pointing fingers laughing. "Why did this have to happen to me?" I'm asking 'cause I can't grasp it. I vowed to tell no one how these bastards trashed my integrity. I was mad so when I got older I would smash on society. If only I knew then half of my insanity. But I denied its existence and wouldn't confront it. It kept on hissing so I kept on running. Until it bit me like a poisonous snake. It was a fate that I couldn't escape. I had a demon in me screaming for revenge. I didn't trust nobody I was afraid of making friends. Puffing on drugs led to an alcoholic binge. Catapulting me to popping pills and toasting to sin. Using women to replace what I thought was taken from me. A recipe for a chase that would keep me hungry. Falling apart with no one there to help me, In emotional poverty pretending that I'm wealthy.
