Betrayal + Hurt = Slavery

by J'Wellsforgivenessgriefanger
What's sweet like honey but turns to gravel. And tears your life apart when it all unravels? Feeling good for a moment — then it fills with regret. Reality sets the stage for an emotional upset, Once released from its spell. Life's worst kept secret — loyalty failed. Betrayal at its peak — hearts are crushed. Severed relationships struck by the blades of lust. Mending is not possible deep in the core. Violation of trust — one can seldom restore. Then the blame shifts to the unforgiving spouse. Like their unforgiving heart can be torn right out. They become slaves to betrayal and hurt. It's out of their control whether apologizing works. Violated trust leaves deep cutting scars. Causing one to bleed out all that they are. Losing oneself is a part of the process. Lost in a world of hurtfulness. Revenge takes control and compels them forward. Delusions take hold — destroying moral boarders. Waters spilled abroad in the streets. For immoral strangers to drink. Response of the emotionally wounded. A life of tragedy for temporary passion. Many lives are destroyed from one person's actions. Such is the consequence of selfishness. A self-destructing bomb of helplessness. When it explodes — hearts are slain. Chaining its victims to a life of pain. Most seek revenge and pass the hurt on. Creating a cycle of repeating the wrong. A trail of broken hearts and crushed emotions. Victims find fulfillment in ripping others open. Passing on the pain that was passed to them, Violating what they once condemned. Retaliating will leave them empty, bitter inside and filled with envy.
