Pride, Pride, Pride

by J'Wellsself worthforgivenessfaith
Unaware are the victims of pride, Until disasters, and reality collide. Is another chance a part of your plan? Patient with the shortcomings of man. Careful should be those, who think they are standing, On sacred ground while breaking commandments. Sorrow takes root in the heart, For what seems to be defeat for missing the mark. Stumbling blocks, obstacles that hinder our faith, Should strengthen His flock, not cast them away. Occupied with vain imaginations. Keeping busy, spiritual procrastination. I'll study harder tomorrow, maybe. Lack meat, drinking milk like babies. Grow up, start feeding on substance. Nourish the spirit, stop chasing after nothing. Cease from childish arguments and foolish discussions. Wasting time, idle minds get attacked by lusting. Prodigal children squander heavenly wealth. Taking for granted their spiritual health. Traded for temporary satisfaction. Moments of egotistical attractions. Heavenly treasures are everlasting. Spiritual intoxication, high on compassion. Divine attributes instilled by our architect, Release natural chemicals with no side effects. Learn to be dependent on these chemicals, Exonerating spiritual criminals. Released from detention, No longer blinded by lustful hunger, Become a sweet smelling aroma.
