Life of Shame
by J'Wellsgriefdark nightfear
A child left to himself causes shame. Clueless, who am I? Molded in pain.
Walk a mile in my shoes. Life's one big party, living by my own rules.
Suppressed emotions caused a violent explosion.
Drown my problems in alcohol, cast in the ocean.
In a sea of misery, deceived by my own notions.
On the island of loneliness, screaming for help.
Yelling desperately before I silently wept.
No answer to my call led to more drinking,
Thinking: 'what are you doing, red lights are blinking?'
Proceed to move forward in the middle of traffic,
Full speed ahead, a collision waiting to happen.
